Adware/TryMedia displays pop-up advertisements. It is usually installed with the online game The Rise of Atlantis.

  • It adds the following registry so that this adware is started everytime Windows starts:

  • It uses the following mutex:
    • 3D Mini Golf (Italiano)
  • It tries to access the following URLs:
    • d.trymedia.com
    • amlocalhost.macrovision.com

    Recommended Action

      FortiGate Systems
    • Check the main screen using the web interface for your FortiGate unit to ensure that the latest AV/NIDS database has been downloaded and installed on your system - if required, enable the 'Allow Push Update' option.
      FortiClient Systems
    • Quarantine/delete files that are detected and replace infected files with clean backup copies.
